There is a unique bike route that takes you between sea and lagoon. You will discover the nature and the small towns, enjoying Venice shining in the background.

The route explores a fascinating environment from Chioggia to Venice through the elegant island of Lido,
the thin fisherman island of Pellestrina
and the natural reserve of Ca’Roman. 

C'é un itinerario unico che porta a scoprire le isole della Laguna Veneta e i loro Tesori.
Dai palazzi di Chioggia,
il lungomare di Sottomarina,
la spiaggia selvaggia e incontaminata di Ca'roman e le colorate casette dei pescatori di Pellestirna,
fino ad arrivare all'elegante Lido e alla splendida Venezia..

The Venice Islands Route starts in Chioggia: you can bike around the alleys and the canals, in the old town where the nice buildings are.

​You can take the ferryboat 11 from Vigo or the Raffaello ferry (remember to book it!) with your bike and arrive in the natural reserve of Ca’ Roman.

 Biking along the walls dividing the sea from the lagoon you will reach the ancient town of Pellestrina with the colourful houses of the fishermen.

From the port of north point of the island with its vineyard you will take the ferry to Lido.
​
​In the famous Venetian island you will encounter the dunes and then the route will take you to the town of Lido.

You will enjoy the sunset surrounded by Lido palaces and squares.
​The VIP location of the International Movie Exhibition.

The Route is ca. 40 km roundtrip, you can decide to come back to Chioggia or to rest the night in Lido and visit Venice.
